Punting:  A punt is a flat-bottomed boat designed for use in small rivers or other shallow water.  Punting refers to boating in a punt.

The punter generally propels the punt by pushing against the riverbed with a pole.  This can be quite tiring for the punter.  It is best to be the puntee.  Sitting inside the boat, perhaps with a cute dog on your lap making friends with people passing by!
